As the proud owner of B A Sheahan & Associates Ltd., I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I have been a practicing registered Chartered Accountant for over thirty-five years. During my history, I have held positions as both a chief financial officer for a major traffic management company and owned a similar business for a period of time. 

I purchased this company in 2019 when the previous owner decided to retire. Today, the business is similar to the type of work that needs to be completed, but with technological advances, the method of processing the paperwork has improved inefficiencies, particularly with client communications between our accounting and bookkeeping offices. 

What sets us apart from other firms is that we represent our clients with both the Canada Revenue Agency and Provincial Sales Tax Ministry. I believe it is our responsibility to keep our clients informed at every step of the way, be certain that we meet their deadlines for both filing and payment of their tax obligations, and act in their best interests at all times. 

As a professional bookkeeping and accounting firm, we also display values of honesty, integrity, and diligence with our clients. Our office acts as a total team, and it is our responsibility to do the best we can for the clients we represent. 

We work to be of real financial benefit to our clients, and when the results are positive, our connection to our clients improves. That is one of our main objectives. 

As a business owner, I have had many satisfying moments, and one of them includes assisting one of my clients to complete a very successful business sale. Other moments are when I am able to save our numerous clients significant money on their tax bills. These results are a real benefit to our clients. 

We have proven over the past several years that we produce quality work for our clients, and our experience with audits from CRA has been very successful for our clients. It is ultimately our quality advice and quality work on an ongoing basis that has earned us a favorable reputation. 

When I’m not assisting my clients, I enjoy working outdoors in our garden area and helping my family with their many activities as they grow up. I also enjoy researching and communicating with our ancestral families. My wife and I have even been foster parents for many years, and this service has occupied a great deal of time for us.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way we do business.
